My bris was an on again off again event. I was a bit jaundice and Mom and Dad weren’t sure what we were going to do for the bris. Since they found out the night before that I was clear for the bris, it was decided we would do something small in the house and the following Sunday they would throw a little welcome Matthew party.
Here is my uncle Jeff holding me and my other uncle Jeff.

The calm before the storm.

Mom and Hannah looking down at me.

My Uncle Marv was holding me and looking away.

Rabbi Zimmerman was giving me the good stuff
I got nice and drunk.

It’s all done. Whew!!!

Aunt Arlene, Abuela, Hannah and Sammy.

That’s my awesome brother Sammy!

“Do I have to let him go?”

Sammy and Daddy came to bring mommy and me home. It was drizzling as we left from the hospital, but Mom dressed me nice and cozy like. On the way home from the hospital we picked up Hannah from school. From there we drove home and sure enough I saw those bright flashing lights:
Check out those cool “I’m the big brother” and “I’m the big sister” shirts Hannah and Sammy are wearing thanks to our friend Priscilla.
That night I needed a few things from the pharmacy, it was pouring out but my Tio Jeffrey and Cindy brought them over. Here they are holding me for the first time:
Thanks guys!
It was so wonderful to meet my big sister, brother and abuela this morning. We all crammed into this tiny room Mommy shared with this other lady who had a baby. Daddy had to go and find us a chair so that my family could sit and hold me. Here is a picture of Abuela holding me and my sister Hannah and brother Sammy all together:
If you want to see the videos of my sister holding me for the first time or my brother holding me for the first time you can see them on their blogs.
Daddy wanted to make sure to get a picture of all his kids together:

All I know is I just want to sleep…and this bright light keeps going off in my face.
Starring in this corner weighing in a 7 pounds and 2 ounces and a height of 20 inches…I came in ready to battle the world. Exciting times lay ahead.

This morning, Mommy tells me I am going to meet my sister, brother and abuela this morning. I can’t wait…instead of them heading over they decided to record this video:
